A gilt bronze figure of Guanyin seated in royal ease with the right leg pending, holding the amrita bottle in the right hand and a small pearl between two fingers of the left hand, the diadem on the head surmounted by an Amitabha figure while he wears jewellery at the ears and at the chest. Closed with a flat base of recent date. Red-lacquered wooden seat. In the style of the 14th century, but probably 18th century.
