A lacquered and gilt wood figure of Guanyin sitting with legs pendant on an irregular bench-like seat, the right foot placed on a different level, both hands in mudra, and wearing loose robes, a scarf covering the hair tied into a chignon. The gilt lacquer coating with overpainting. A small cavity to the back closed with a lacquered wooden tablet. 18th century.
