A porcelain walking cane topper with a Portrait of Crown Princess Victoria

Depicting the young princess beneath a crown amid gilt tendrils, monogrammed VR (Victoria Regina?) and dated 1837 to the reverse. Unmarked. H 10 cm.
Attributed to Berlin KPM, after 1888.

This piece is a curiosity, as Princess Victoria Adelaide Mary Louisa of Great Britain was born in 1840. At the time of the Coronation she was already 48 years old.
