A rare pair of Dessau silver sugar tongs by Marianne Brandt

From the ME112 garniture. L 8.1 cm, weight 18 g.
Marianne Brandt, stamped "BAUHAUS", 1928.

Alessi are still licensed to produce the Bauhaus-designed garniture "ME112" in stainless steel to this day. This early example in silver with the seldom-used BAUHAUS hallmark is exceedingly rare.
