A late 14th century French carved ivory relief of the Virgin with the Child and Saints

With minimal remains of former polychromy. High-relief panel with plain borders, formerly the left panel of a diptych. The Virgin, John the Baptist with a lamb and cross staff, and Saint Catherine with the wheel depicted beneath Gothic arches accompanied by two angels with incense burners.
Vertical hairline cracks, drilled holes to the upper corners, hinged on the right side. 9 x 6.5 cm.
