A Mechelen carved alabaster depiction of the resurrection of Christ, circa 1600

With partially overworked gilding and overpainted or additional polychromy. A high-relief depiction of Christ resurrected, He is shown floating on a bank of cloud and flanked by the soldiers around the grave.
A diagonal crack to the lower left. Set into a narrow wooden plinth and mounted in a modern wooden frame. 12 x 10 cm (without plinth and frame).
