A parcel gilt silver pendant with Saint George and the dragon

After a South German Renaissance design. Picked out in coloured "ronde bosse" enamel and suspending a small pearl. Stamped: Vienna maker's mark "SG" of Simon Grünwald, master in 1873. Minor wear to the enamel with cold enamel repairs. H 7.2 cm, weight 25 g.
