A small 14k gold and amethyst pompadour bag

Oval pouch of finely woven gold, the chased "neck" folds out to open the bag. The pierced lid with floral relief and set with a large amethyst (diameter ca. 18.7 mm) and four tiny brilliant-cut diamonds. With bayonette clasp and fine chain. Stamped: Fineness 14 K. H 18 cm. Weight 74.7 g.
