A royal Berlin silver travel cutlery set
Comprising interior gilt beaker, hinged fork and spoon, knife, and tea-/marrow spoon. All pieces except the small spoon engraved with the coat-of-arms of the Pommeranian family v. Plötz. The beaker additionally engraved "O.H. v. Plötz" and dated 1853, later "Günther v. Ploetz", dated 1927, and "Von Ihro Majestäten Dem König und der Königin" / "den 24ten December 1853". In the original leather case embossed with the same royal dedication. H of beaker 9.3 cm, weight 119 g.
