A large four-case inrô. 19th century

Displaying a large descending dragon of silver, within clouds rendered in high relief to the side a small figure of Rodôhin with a drawn sword, standing on rocks, on the reverse a large wave and a whisp of cloud, all on a kinji ground, details in hiramaki-e, okibirame and kirikane. To the inside nashiji and fundame. Signed Jôkasai. Ojime of ivory, carved with a dragon clutching a tama above waves.
