A Sang de Boeuf beehive waterpot (taibozun). 18th/19th century

Of classic domed ‘taibozun’ form with rounded sides and a narrow waisted neck below an everted rim, the exterior covered with a copper-red glaze, the interior and the base glazed white. An apocryphal Kangxi six-character mark. Chips and cracks around the mouth.



Wassertopf von Bienenkorbform (taibozun) mit engem Hals und ausgestelltem Rand. Auf der Außenwand bedeckt mit einer kupferroten Glasur, innen und am Boden neutral glasiert. Apokryphe Sechszeichenmarke Kangxi. Mündung besch.
