A Yaozhou celadon carved bowl. Northern Song dynasty (960-1127)

With rounded sides, rising from a shallow footring to a lipped rim, moulded on the exterior with bow-string band below the mouth rim, to the interior with a curving lotus blossom and leaf, all under a widely crackled glaze of olive-green tone.
