A two-part inro. Mid-19th century

With separate cord runners. Guri lacquer ground, carved in fine, dense vines and volutes around a quadrefoil foil at the centre, running over the top and bottom of the himotôshi. Red lacquer to the inside, with three compartments. Ojime en suite. A round, two-part manjû with a large peach and leafy branch in tsuikoku on a red ground.
