A Vienna porcelain cup and saucer with a view of Naples

Of cylindrical form with angular handle and original saucer. Decorated with an atmospheric view labelled "Vue du Mosle de Naples au Fort de la Laterne". The back of the cup and the saucer with scrolling tendrils and rainbow coloured reserves. Blue "bindenschild" mark, year letters 803 and 804, dreher's numbers 47 and 51.
Vienna, Imperial porcelain manufactory under Konrad von Sorgenthal, fired 1803 and 1804, decorated soon after.
