A royal Bavarian lace fan

Golden brown tortoiseshell staves, silver pin with gilt rosette. The front stave applied with a silver initial H beneath a prince's crown set with rose-cut diamonds. The fan of cream coloured handmade lace. In the original box stamped "A & A Luisi, Hoflieferant München". The box defective. L 24.5 cm. Width 45 cm.
Circa 1900.

A label to the underside of the box with a pencil inscription: "Zu meiner Konfirmation von Prinz Heinrich von Bayern, der im I. Weltkrieg fiel".
