An 18k white gold and diamond crossover bangle

Three-dimensional crossover bangle formed from two oval rings set with 94 brilliant-cut diamonds in two-point settings (in total ca. 6.58 ct, F/G). In the original spherical case, the silk lining marked "Friedrich Becker". Hallmarks: Fineness 750, maker's mark "B" in a circle. Diameter 8.7 cm. Weight 40.98 g.
Friedrich Becker, Düsseldorf 1967.

The diamonds in this bracelet appear to float in invisible settings. This effect is achieved by making funnel shaped cuts into the narrow blade like suface of the bands. The culets of the diamonds are then set into these tiny incisions using delicate loops. This technique required the extreme precision for which Becker was known and excelled in due to his knowledge as a technician.
