A dated Grassmayr mortar with a winged putto's head

Cast bronze with slightly mottled chocolate brown patina. With a winged putto's head flanked by sage leaves to the display side, dated "1678" above the initials "LM". One dolphin handle. H 14.2, D 13.9 cm. Weight 2.7 kg. Including a later T-shaped pestle.
