A dated Grassmayr mortar with the Virgin in an aureola

Cast bronze with fine, slightly mottled brown patina. Cast to the vessel body with a series of motifs including sage leaves, vases of flowers, and a central depiction of the Virgin and Child, with the initials "P F" above the date "1682" in relief. H 18, D 16.6 cm. Weight 4.6 kg.
