Lot 51 D

The photograph was taken in the apartment of the Hamburg architect Fritz Schleifer who studied at the Weimar Bauhaus with Oskar Schlemmer and Wassily Kandinsky between 1922 and 1924. Taken in a low-angle shot typical of New Vision, she shows, among other things, a tubular steel table by Marcel Breuer and a teapot by Naum Slutzky.
The motif was used as a poster for the Naum Slutzky exhibition at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg 1995.
