A four-case inrô. Late 18th/arly 19th century

Displaying a tethered and caparisoned horse standing by a decorated post in black lacquer, gold and silver maki-e, a little red lacquer, silver and gold foil on a black ground sprinkled with gold dust. Red lacquer and fundame to the inside. Signed Koma Yasutada saku. Ridged stag antler ojime. A boxwood netsuke of a caparisoned grazing horse. 19th century.
