A four-case inrô. Late 19th century

Displaying a lively sanbasô dancer with a black mask, a folding fan and bells in shakudô and gold on a kinji ground, and on the other side a landscape with a rake and a broom beneath an old pine in allusion to the nô drama "Takasago", in takamaki-e, hiramaki-e and kirikane, on the sides hirameji. Signed ...saku and red pot seal reading Hide (=Kajikawa). Nashiji and fundame to the inside. An agate-coloured ojime. A kinji-ground two-part manjû with a sanbasô dancer in takamaki-e. 19th century.
