Chôgo. Late 18th century

Two horizontal scrolls with the title Tsukushi nikki (Tsukushi diary). Long text passages intercepted by illustrations, mostly landscapes. Ink and colours on paper. All illustrations sealed Chôgo and with another seal. Shortly before the end of the scroll the names Chôgo for the painter and Shikon for the calligrapher, at the end of the scroll the date of Kansei 6 (1796) and the name of Yûga. Wooden box.
