Two Berlin faience tankards with star cartouche motifs

Decorated with star-shaped cartouches with Prussian eagles and inscribed devices on manganese ground. With hinged pewter lids and rims.
1. NON SOLI CEDIT. Interior with cracquelure. Former collection of the Fürsten zu Salm, Burg Anholt; Christie´s Anholt on 20th September 2001, lot 347. H 22.5 cm.
2. SUUM CUIQUE (Order of the Black Eagle). With a medallion commemorating Maria Theresia dated "PRAGUE: 12 MAY 1743". The lid with Anklam marks, Conrad Press, the basal ring associated. Former collection of Dr. Konrad Strauß, Munich. H 24.5 cm.
