A bronze figure of a veil dancer

Cast bronze with dark brown patina. Signed at the base of the plinth "Alice Nordin Rom. 09" and "Herman. Bergman fud." H 32.5 cm.

This bronze is thought to depict the American dancer Loïe Fuller (1862 – 1928), who was a dancer at the Folies Bergère until 1899 and was portrayed by numerous contemporary artists.
