A small Augsburg silver tankard

Silver; gold-plated. A silver-gilt tankard of tapering cylindrical form with a cast scroll handle. Decorated with garlands of fruit in bas relief and auricular style cartouches, with a vacant oval reserve to the front. The domed lid with corresponding décor and a bifurcated thumb rest. Brands: BZ Augsburg for 1624 - 28, MZ Lukas Neusser (c. 1618 - 57, Seling no. 0330, 1321), tremolier engraving. H 14 cm, weight 381 g.
