A pair of Meissen porcelain butter dishes with chinoiserie decor

With original covers. Decorated with two figures in a garden alongside trees, shrubs, and pavilions. Blue crossed swords mark with o between the guards in the insides of the lids, the base unglazed, pressnummer 5. Minor chips to the rims of the lids. H 6.9 and 7.2, D 11.2 and 11.6 cm.
Mid-18th C.
