A pair of Nymphenburg porcelain cups with portraits of Max I and Karoline of Bavaria

Model no. 280 with snake handles and biscuit relief portraits, original saucers. With portraits of the royal couple reserved on gilt vermicelli ground and surrounded by foliate tendrils. With impressed rhombus mark and XIII, incised conjoined AC, zi and w (cups), the saucer with further incised marks. Minor wear, the gilding partially oxidised.
