A fine ivory Netsuke of a shishi with a ball. 19th century

The mouth slightly open to reveal the Shishi's fangs, the left front paw placed on a ball carved in openwork with a loose ball to its inside. The shishi's mane and tail are rendered in fine curls and strands. The eye pupils of brownish horn. Signed Okatomo in a rectangular reserve to the left hind leg.
