A Gandhara gray schist head of a bodhisattva. Pakistan. 2nd/3rd century

The narrow head with large almond-shapes eyes and finely modelled upper and lower eyelids, with full lips below a large moustache, the undulating hair gathered into a chignon and held together by a string of pearls. A bit damaged.
