With the long tail placed between its front legs, the seated wolf holds a monkey with its front paws, biting the monkey’s right arm up to the elbow. Finely carved and engraved, the spine accentuated in relief, the eyes inlaid with black horn. Signed Okakoto in a square reserve on the left hindleg.
