Small ladybird motif brooch with wings formed from carved red coral and head and legs picked out in black enamel. Wings and eyes set with ten diamonds in brilliant- and 8/8-cuts. With a double pin clasp. Hallmarks: French gold fineness (Tardy, 161), "Cartier Paris", maker's mark, "Deposé", numbered L2651. The coral with a tiny repair on the wing tip. The enamel of the feelers slightly chipped. 2.9 x 2.4 cm. Weight 15.41 g.
