An 18k gold enamel jewelled Victorian snake bangle

Designed as a hinged band with a naturalistically wrought snake head decorated with cobalt blue enamel, 29 cushion shaped diamonds, 48 rose-cut diamonds, and ruby cabochons for the eyes. One hinge defective, minor damage to the enamel of the links. Diameter ca. 5 cm. Weight 35.9 g.
