A Meissen porcelain tea bowl and saucer with yellow ground

Decorated with landscape and merchant navy scenes, the well of the cup with a Chinoiserie style diamond motif and indianische blumen. The well of the saucer with a finely painted merchant navy scene in a sumptuous gilt and purple lustre cartouche. Blue crossed swords mark with pronounced pommels, dreher's mark . . of Johann Martin Kittel jr. The rim of the tea bowl with a minor restoration. H tea bowl 4.2, D 7.4, D saucer 12 cm.
Circa 1728/30.
