A Prószków faience duck tureen

Modelled resting with its head turned towards its tail, the back forming the lid. Marked DP in manganese cursive to the underside, incised N (later?) Minor retouches over chips to the back edge of the lid and to the tail. H 17.5, D 22.6 cm.
Proskau, modern day Prószków, von Dietrichstein period, after 1769.

Private collection, Westphalia, acquired in 1985 from Fischer-Böhler in Munich.
