A large Augsburg silver tureen and cover with stand

Oval bombé form tureen with gilt interior, rocaille handles and embossed rocailles and scrolls. The lid with corresponding decor and a shell finial. The edge of the round, scalloped stand and the handles also with conforming decor. H of tureen 33; W 40; D 22 cm. L of stand 47.5; W 30.5 cm, total weight 3,006 g.
The tureen with marks of Andreas Friedrich Stemmler, the stand with marks of Johann Wilhelm Dammann, 1745 - 49.
