An Augsburg silver gilt colombine cup and cover.

Round base with six curving embossed lobes supporting a baluster form shaft with scrolls and a waisted cup and cover with corresponding decor crowned by a figure of a Roman soldier as a finial. H 38.5 cm, weight 593 g.
Marks of Andreas I Gilg, 1616 - 20.
