A Berlin KPM porcelain dish from a general's service

Neoclassical bowl with a gilt interior resting on a gilded base. The outer surface finely decorated with gilt etched foliage and lyre motifs. H 8.8. D 14.3 cm.

Cf. the green ground and the identical laurel decoration on a small vase from the service with the Iron Helmet (cat. Orden auf königlichem Porzellan, Museum Schloss Fasanerie, Eichenzell 2013, no. 3.22). The service also featured different types of dishes, each in sets of four or six (ibid. no. 3.29 ff).
