A garnet friendship ring

14 kt Gelbgold. 14k gold ring. The rectangular bezel set with a step-cut pyrope (ca. 12.4 x 10.8 x 5.3 mm), the buff top of which carved with the conjoined initials “ET” and “ML”. Hallmarks: Fineness 585, maker's mark “ET”. Bezel 1.26 x 1.42 cm. Ring size 52. Weight 10.3 g.
Elisabeth Treskow, 1950s.

The stone bears the initials of Elisabeth Treskow and Lioba Munz and was a personal gift from the goldsmith to her friend and student.
