A rare Dresden faience tankard with a musician

Decorated with a man in Oriental costume playing a lute in a wooded landscape. The pewter lid monogrammed and dated “J.C.B. 1779” (presumably Silesian). Blue “D.H” mark, pewter marks. Chips to the inner rim. H with lid 24.2 cm.
