The Jasapha or Kidron Valley is a small valley that separates the Temple Mount and the Old City of Jerusalem to the west from the Mount of Olives to the east, forming an arc through the Judah desert towards the Dead Sea. Aside from several ancient funerary monuments, such as the 1st century AD Tomb of Absalom depicted here, the valley is also home to the Basilica of the Agony in the Garden and the Tomb of Mary.
