A blanc de Chine figure of Guanyin. Dehua. 19th century

Posed standing, wearing loose robes exposing a bare foot, the hair pinned in a high-top knot and fronted with a diadem, wearing a bejeweled necklace around the chest, holding a scroll in her right hand. Impressed seal marks to the back: Dehua in a double gourd and Pu (Bo) ji yu ren (fishermen's mark).
