A Sèvres soft-paste porcelain “pot à oille” tureen from a service with bouquets

Round vessel on four curving palmette feet that meld into rounded handles with foliate reliefs entwined by braided blue ribbons. The outer surface moulded. The original lid with an artichoke finial. Double-L monogram surrounding year letter "i.", enamel blue painter´s mark axe. The finial and handle replaced. H with lid 24.5, W 28 cm.
