A pair of Baroque marble candlesticks

Three-part marble candle holders in the Louis XIV style (possibly Campan grand mélange marble). An old stapled repair to the base, the other nozzle slightly amended. H 17 cm.
France or Italy, 18th C.

This type of marble was also used for panels and decoration in Versailles and Trianon.
