Two Hagenau porcelain tureens with bull's heads

Cylindrical meat ragout tureens on tapering column supports. Decorated with gilt bull's heads holding the original porcelain rings and bouquets of flowers after motifs by Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer. Blue mark V 491 on the unglazed edges, incised mark V 419 and A3, grey 50, the bull's heads with brown mark V 491. Some of the horns restored, rim chips. H 30 and 30.5, W ca. 37.5 cm.
