A Sèvres porcelain cup, saucer and sugar box from a déjeuner

Decorated with a frieze of trompe l'oeil tendrils and swirls surrounding cameo portraits of warriors and generals of antiquity. Pale blue stamped double-L mark, incised marks, gold "FB.20." (box). A chip to the finial of the box. H of cup 7.8, D of saucer 14.1, H of sugar box 15.5 cm.
Circa 1820.
