„SEO makes preliminary sketches for her pictures with ink. The numbers on the canvas match those of her boxes of paper and make it possible to select the paper to be used. In this way, SEO also sets the tone. The gluing process covers the preliminary drawing step by step: a classic collage process (the Greek word for glue forms the core of the later word „collage“). Each layer of paper is coated with acrylic that is also used to protect the surface of the finished work. SEO's working process is combined with continuous ripping and reorganization. The texture of the Hanji paper allows the lower layers to shine through and invests each work with the shimmering colour effect that makes SEO's pictures so appealing. […]. SEO's collages develop from her work on the fragment and the information of clusters. During the construction of a picture, each fragment becomes part of a new structural network in which everything is pasted and intertwined - things from here and there, conscious and instinctive. Her pictures develop into patterns of interference that respond to the boundlessness of time and place.
