A silver ladle commemorating the victory at Belle Alliance

Small, interior gilt sauce ladle with a curved handle, the terminal of which decorated with portraits of General Field Marshall Blücher and the Duke of Wellington beneath the monogram B.W. in a wreath, inscribed below "BELLE=ALLIANCE 18:IUNY 1815." and with the owner's monogram "H.W." on the underside. L 19 cm, weight 36 g.
