Novelty brooch in the shape of a sparrow perching on a branch. The eye set with a chrysoprase cabochon lined with white enamel. Clip moutings with a double-pin. Hallmarks: Parisian "tête d'aigle" guarantee, French "tête de Mercure" export stamp used since 1879, unidentified maker's mark "Ste IBF". L 6.3 cm. Weight 18.08 g.
