A silver granulation and moonstone brooch.

Designed as a stylised leaf with four raised discs with geometric granulation and asymmetrically set with nine moonstone cabochons (diameter 3.4 - 6.5 mm). Hallmarks: Maker's mark "Nagel". L 7.0 cm. Weight 15.00 g.

This brooch clearly displays the influence of Nagel's teacher at the Kölner Werkschulen, Elisabeth Treskow.
