A German 18k gold Biwa pearl necklace with a large freshwater pearl and diamond pendant.

Pendant with a large, bizarrely formed freshwater cultured pearl mounted in melted fine gold and set with 13 brilliant-cut diamonds (in total 1.94 ct, K/L, si). Can also be worn as a brooch via a needle to the reverse. Suspended from a chain of small bronze and gold toned Biwa pearls alternating with melted gold rings and with three spherical gold extension clasps. Hallmarks: Fineness 750, maker's mark (to the clasp). Minimal repairs to reverse. Pendant: 7.8 x 7.5 cm. L chain 38 cm. Total weight 61.27 g.
